After years of making bubble toys, the number one question we get from buyers is: “Which bubble gun sells best?”
There’s no one right answer. But after shipping thousands of units, some patterns are clear. Here’s what we’ve learned — not from an SEO checklist, just from talking to real customers.
Start with two simple questions
1. What age are the kids?
3-5 years old → Keep it tiny. One button, no fuss. If it’s complicated, they’ll drop it and cry.
6-10 years old → Now you can go electric. Dinosaur shapes, gun shapes — anything that looks cool.
Older kids and adults → Honestly, they don’t want bubble guns. They want desktop bubble machines or giant wands.
2. What’s the occasion?
Birthday party favors → Cheap and cheerful. Kids lose them in 30 minutes anyway.
Carnival booths / street vendors → You need volume. Non-stop bubbles without re-dipping every 5 seconds.
Weddings and photoshoots → Looks matter more than anything. The sunflower machine is perfect for this.

What we actually ship the most
Our factory’s monthly breakdown, roughly:
🥇 Electric bubble guns (all styles) — about 40% of orders
No blowing needed, one button does it all. Gun shapes, dinosaur shapes, cartoon styles. The bubble gun category is our busiest by far — these sell year-round.
🥈 Mini bubble wands — about 30% of orders
A few cents each at wholesale prices. Toss a couple into party bags and you’re done. Downside: kids have to blow manually. But at this price, nobody complains.
🥉 Desktop bubble machines — about 20% of orders
Plug it in, put it on the ground, and the whole yard fills up. Popular with carnival operators and wedding planners.
Don’t forget the bubble solution
A lot of first-time buyers order the guns and then come back two weeks later for the liquid.
Bubble solution quality varies massively. Bad formula = tiny bubbles that pop instantly. Good formula = big bubbles that float. Our concentrated bubble solution makes about 3x more bubbles than the standard stuff — customers notice, and they re-order.
If you’re selling bubble guns, always bundle the refill solution. That’s where the repeat business lives.
How to order without overpaying
We’re based in Shantou, China. If you’re local, come check out the warehouse. For overseas buyers, we ship FOB or DDP — whatever works.
Pricing: bubble guns range from about $0.50 to $3.00 a piece at wholesale quantities. We do custom logos, custom packaging, custom colors — OEM and ODM are both fine.
Not sure what to pick? Just tell us your budget and what kind of event you’re stocking for. A lot of customers start with a small mixed trial order, see what sells, then come back for containers.
