Buyers ask us the same things every season, and they are almost never about the products. They are about quantity, timing and whether they can mix. So here are the answers, in the order they usually come up.
How much do I have to order?
5 pieces per design, and designs mix in one order. That is deliberately low — low enough that a buyer can take one of each design in a range and find out what sells before committing to cartons of anything.
Where the minimum changes is customisation. Your logo, your colours, your packaging: those involve setup, and setup needs a run that covers it. Standard items are cheap to trial; custom items are for products you have already decided to commit to.
Can I mix products in one order?
Yes, and you should. Bubble guns, wands, water guns and solution can all go into one consignment, which means one set of documents and one freight bill rather than three.
It also makes the freight arithmetic better. Large items — cannons, machines — leave gaps in a container that compact items like wands and solution fill. A mixed load almost always ships at a lower cost per unit than a single-product load.
When should I place a summer order?
Work backwards from the day your customers start buying. Subtract the sea transit for your route, the clearance time at your port, and our production time for the order. What is left is your deadline.
The mistake we see most is buyers counting from the date they want the goods in their warehouse rather than the date their customers start buying — which leaves no room for anything going wrong, and things do go wrong.
What do you need from me to quote?
Four things: the products or designs you are considering, the quantity, the destination port, and whether you need standard or custom packaging. With those we can come back with pricing, carton dimensions, pieces per carton, weights and a production time.
Photographs help if you are describing something rather than naming it, but a product reference is better. Most of what buyers send us as “something like this” is already in our range.
Do I need to come to Yiwu?
No. Plenty of our buyers have never seen the market. What you lose by buying remotely is the ability to walk a market and compare, so we send samples instead — and we would rather send you three samples than have you order from a photograph and be disappointed.
If you do come, we are at Yiwu International Trade City, District 1, Gate 17, first floor, Area E, Street 2810B.
What about payment and shipping?
Payment terms are agreed per order. Shipping is arranged with a forwarder — yours or ours — once the carton volume and weight are known, because that is what the freight is priced on.
Ask us for the carton figures with any quotation. It is the difference between comparing products and comparing prices.
Tell us what you are considering and where it is going. WhatsApp: +86 173 4881 6397, or browse bubble guns, bubble wands and water guns first.
