These are the questions we answer most often from buyers who are new to importing bubble toys from China. Short answers, and what to ask us if you want the detail.
What is your minimum order?
5 pieces per design, and designs mix in one order. A first order can be several designs across bubble guns, wands and water guns, and it ships as one consignment. Custom printing changes the minimum, because printed production needs a run that covers the setup.
Can I get samples?
Yes. Samples are the only way to judge a bubble toy — the seal, the motor and the wand ring all look fine in a photograph and only reveal themselves with solution in the unit. Ask for a sample of each design you are seriously considering, not one representative unit.
Do you do OEM and own-brand packaging?
Yes, across most of the range. Logo printing on the product or the box, custom colours, and packaging designed around your brand. Expect the minimum per design to rise with customisation, and expect a longer lead time on the first run while the print work is prepared.
What certificates do you have?
It depends on the product. Some of our models are documented against CE, EN 71, EN 62115, ASTM, CPC, UKCA and CPSIA. What matters is not the list but the paperwork: ask for the report that names the exact product and the factory that made it, and check the date. A certificate for a similar item is not evidence of anything.
How much does shipping cost?
We quote goods, not freight — your forwarder or ours will price the shipment based on the carton volume and weight we give you. Ask us for carton dimensions, pieces per carton and gross weight for each product, and you can calculate your own freight per unit before you compare suppliers on price.
How many fit in a container?
It depends entirely on the carton. As a guide, a 20ft container takes roughly 28 cubic metres of cartons once you allow for how boxes actually stack; the floor pattern, not the volume, usually sets the limit. Ask for carton figures and do the arithmetic properly rather than accepting a container quantity quoted from volume alone.
What are the payment terms?
Agreed per order rather than fixed. Terms depend on the product, the value and whether it is a first order or a repeat, so ask us rather than assuming a term applies to you.
How long is production?
It varies by product and by season, and it changes with customisation. Ask for a lead time against your specific order rather than a general figure, and add the transit time for your route — a product that arrives after the season has started is a product you are storing until next year.
Can I mix bubble toys with water guns in one order?
Yes, and it is usually the right thing to do. Orders ship together, so a mixed container is one set of documents and one freight bill. Bubble toys are compact for their value and work well as filler around bulkier water cannon cartons.
What if something is wrong with the goods?
Tell us with photographs as soon as the container is opened, before the stock is distributed. The earlier it is raised, the more can be done about it. This is also why we push buyers to check a sample properly before the production run rather than after arrival — the cheapest inspection is the one that happens before you pay.
