What it does
It blows bubbles continuously while it drives, so the child is following a trail of bubbles rather than standing over a machine. Rechargeable rather than disposable, which matters to a parent doing the sums on batteries. Age guidance is 3 to 8.

What decides whether it sells well
Three things, and none of them are the shape.
The battery. A rechargeable unit lives or dies on its cell and its charger. Ask what the cell is, how long a charge lasts and whether the charger suits your market’s plug standard, because shipping a machine with the wrong plug is a problem you discover at the customer’s house.
The drive. A machine that blows bubbles well but steers badly is a machine a child abandons. Check the wheels and the gearbox on a sample — that is where the cheap versions give themselves away.
The bubble output. Ask for the refill format and the consumption rate. A machine that empties its reservoir in ten minutes generates a complaint; one that runs for an hour generates a repeat order for solution, which is a second product you can sell alongside it.
Who buys it
Gift and lifestyle retail first. Toy shops stocking an outdoor aisle. Online sellers, where the moving-and-blowing demo video does most of the selling. And party or event rental businesses, who care about the rechargeable battery more than anything else.
If you are selling into a market where garden toys peak in early summer, this is a product to land before the season rather than during it.
