The formats we make
Four shapes in the vehicle line. A 51cm space gun with five nozzles, a 51cm rocket launcher with fifteen, a 49cm cement mixer truck and a 49cm oil tanker, both with fifteen nozzles.
The nozzle count is the specification that matters. Five nozzles gives a wide, soft spray — the fireworks effect, visually impressive, gentle enough for younger children. Fifteen nozzles at 49 to 51cm is a different product: more water per pull, more impression, and a heavier unit in a child’s hands.
Both formats carry the firework spray effect, which is what distinguishes this line from a plain blaster. The visual payoff is the reason the vehicle shapes work — the child sees the truck and then sees it spray like a firework.
Choosing between them
Match the nozzle count to the age group you are selling to. Under-sixes do better with the five-nozzle format: less weight, less force, less water everywhere. Older children and the summer-fight market want the fifteen-nozzle units, and that is where the price and the perceived value sit.
On shape, spread your range. A truck appeals to a different child than a rocket, and stocking two shapes usually outsells stocking double quantity of one.
What to check on a sample
Fill it and fire it before you look at anything else. The points that fail on this format are the nozzle head, where the plastic takes the pressure, and the reservoir seal at the joint. Both are visible with water in the unit and neither is visible in a photograph.
Then check the mechanism for the firework effect separately. It is the feature you are paying for, so it should work on the first pull, every time.
Packing
These are large items — 49 to 51cm — and the carton is correspondingly big, so carton dimensions matter more here than on a small pistol. Ask for the current carton size, pieces per carton and gross weight, and work out your freight per unit before you compare prices across suppliers. A cheaper unit in a bigger carton is not cheaper.
